CKY's Bios
CKY (Camp Kill Yourself) is a rockconsisting of the following Deron Miller on vocals and guitar, Chad Ginsburg on guitar,vocals and is also the band's producer, On drums Jess Margera (Bam Margera's older brother)and on bass Matt "Dice" Deis.Deron and Chad played the bass on 3 albums,yet Matt Deis will take over on the next album which the band has slowly been writing tracks for while on tour.
They share their name with a series of skate and prank videos made by Jess's little Brother Bam Margera. CKY's music has been featured in Jackass and all four CKY videos, and the track "96 Quite Bitter Beings" from the album Volume 1, also featured on the the Video game Tony Hawk Underground 3. The songs "Sporadic Movement" from the album Infiltrate Destroy Rebuild and "The Human Drive in Hi-Fi" from Volume 1 also were in the video game Back Yard Wrestiling Don't Try This at Home,. They ahve also done songs in serveral movie soundtracks as: Resident Evil: Apocalypse.
Deron Miller
born May 21, 1976 in West Chester Pennsylvania is the lead singer, guitarist and songwriter for CKY which has been through various incarnations since he co-founded it in 1994 with Jess Margera. Deron came up with the band name after a horror movie idea he had. CKY's most recent release was 2005's An Answer Can Be Found which debuted at #35 on Billboard's Top 100
Chad Ginsburg
He also plays some bass on the albums. Chad has been in the music industry for years, and appeared in his first album Reverb on the Click by the band Rudy + Blitz in 1995. recently, Chad has been responsible for the addition of intricate guitar solos to CKY's songs starting with their new album. However, Chad's more basic guitar work can be heard in the earlier albums
Jess Margera
born Philip Jesse Margera on August 28, 1978 in West Chester he is the drummer in the bands CKY and GnarKill.He has guest starred alongside his brother in the cky Videos. On in April of 2005 he and his girlfriend Kelly had a baby girl named Ava Elizabeth Margera. Jess and Kelly were married in October 2005 in Pennsylvania
Matt Deis
(born December 13th, 1983 in Petertborough, New Hampshire) is a professional musician and currently the bassist for CKY. He has an associates degree in music performance.
