5 members. Ville valo, Burton, Gas, Linde and Migë.
The genre is love metal, and that is also the name
of their  album that came out in 2004.
HIM`s music is catchy, if you listen to it like only 2 times, you
get hooked. The music hits you right in your soul, and
phrases like "she`ll be right here in my arms, so in love" and
"baby, join me in death" will be engraved into your mind for a while

The pair have since split (March 2006).
